For this week, we have a very nice received a photo of a very nice Mamayocaris jaskoskii from long time ESCONI member Marty Houdek, who has sent us some nice photos earlier this year. This specimen is preserved in a somewhat unique dorsal position. There is quite a bit of detail that is rarely shown. M. jaskoskii was described by Frederick Schram in 1974.
Marty told us he found this specimen near Pit 11’s tipple back in 2002. Thanks for sharing this rare beauty, Marty!
