We’ve got a nice Diplazites unita from Mazon Creek.  It was found in the Pit 3 locatity in early 2024 and opened via freeze/thaw recently.  Diplazites unita was a true fern (Filocopsida).  It is a common fossil in the terrestrial deposits of Mazon Creek. It was named in 1836 by Adolphe-Theodore Brongniart (1801-1876), who was a French paleontologist, considered by many to be the father of paleobotany.  Learn more about D. unita in Mazon Monday #53.
