Fossil Friday #54: Assortment of Mississippian Fossils – Anna, IL

This week we have some fossils from a road cut near Anna, IL in southern Illinois.  These fossils came out of the Haney Shale, which dates to the Mississippian Period.  These fossils are part of the donation made by Peter and Paul Kruty earlier this year.  Thanks again, guys!

Brachiopods

Pentremites Blastoid

Archimedes bryozoans
