ESCONI had a field trip to the Field Museum in February 1971.  This announcement appeared in the newsletter…. Eugene Richardson, Jr. was the tour guide!

There was a report in the March issue of the newsletter.  46 people attended, with appropriate OOHs amd AAHs.  

They met Hans-Peter Schultze, who is now a Curator Emeritus at the University of Kansas.  He is a vertebrate paleontologist studing fossil fishes and their depositional environment.
