Fossil Find by Indiana University

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University scientists say they’ve discovered a “treasure trove” of fossils in a water-filled cave in the Dominican Republic.

The IU archaeologists went on scuba diving treks in about 30 feet of water in the cave.

They found stone tools, a remarkably preserved primate skull and the claws, jawbone and other bones of several species of Caribbean sloths….
