This is the preview post #6 for the 2022 ESCONI Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Show Live Auction.  The show is on March 19th and 20th, 2022 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL.  All details can be found here.

Today’s preview for the live auction is a box of assorted Mazon Creek plant fossils.  There’s a little bit of everything, 3 ferns (Crenulopteris), 2 different seed ferns (Macroneuropteris and Alethopteris), and a lycopod (Asterophyllites).  These were collected back in the 1950’s and 1960’s by an ESCONI member.
