Lizzadro Museum: Children become dinosaur detectives with “Paleontologist Illinois Bones” to learn about the world of dinosaurs. Fossils and props are used to create an awareness of dinosaur characteristics. Live animals show how dinosaurs are related to animals living today. Interactive Lecture – Ages 4 yrs. to Adult, 50 minutes – 2:00 p.m., Admission: $4 per person

Sat-Sun, 4/9-10The Des Plaines Geological Society‘s annual show will be held on April 9-10 at the Des Plaines Park District Leisure Center at 2222 Birch St Des Plaines Il. Show hours are: Saturday 9:30-5:00 and Sunday 10:00-4:00. Admission Adults $3 Seniors $2 Students w/ID $1 Children under 12 free with adult. There will be fine gem and jewelry dealers, kid’s room, live demonstrations, educational exhibits,food, door prizes, raffles and a silent auction. Lazzardo museum will have a display.
