I am in Tucson, AZ and have a large number of probable Cambrian fossils I cannot identify, even though I have researched extensively on the internet what organisms were specific to different geologic time periods. I can identify sponges and horn and other corals, but the most plentiful fossils, petrified, silicified and/or agatized, have two intertwined “braids” of double helix “branches” that also start to twist. If I can send you photos are you able and willing to help me? Or, if you are aware of a qualified paleontologist in my area would you please let me know? A paleontologist with the Museum of Natural History in Mesa, AZ never even responded to me because the Museum is entirely focused on making money and not on research and discovery. Thank you very much.
